Please do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel. They claim to be 3 stars but they're not.
I got a room with a broken AC unit. I told the reception and they told me not to worry and by the time I get back, my room would be cold. We got back at 11 pm that night with 30 degrees in Rome. The room was still hot. The staff offered to get me a fan but when going back to the room, the plug outlets didn't work either. I ended up leaving the hotel close to midnight to another hotel by the Spanish Steps for a much more expensive price.
Please avoid a headache and don't book here. They need a major renovation.
1 star is too high of a rating for this place.
If you are a tourist in the city, this is the perfect hotel if you need to sleep and shower.
The hotel is very well located in the city's center, a small but organized hotel; the room and bathroom are clean, the mattress is comfortable, and the staff is friendly.
The breakfast is disappointing, they don't have good coffee, but this hotel is worth what you pay for.
Hotel Elide is a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Rome. The hospitality of the staff is truly exceptional, with careful attention paid to every detail to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay. The people are incredibly nice and always willing to help with any needs or questions. The breakfast at the hotel is perfect and provides a great start to the day. The service throughout the hotel is excellent, making guests feel well taken care of. The location is also fantastic, with the hotel situated in the city center and just a short walk from Roma Termini station. This makes it easy to explore all that Rome has to offer. Overall, Hotel Elide is a wonderful option for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in Rome with excellent hospitality and service.
We stayed here for one night due to cancellation of flight. So we walked in and they had a room available for a really good price. We ended up having a better room than what we expected of the price. The check in time was 2 PM, but since we checked out from the prev hotel at 12 noon, they let us in that early without extra charge!
On our last day in Rome, they also let us leave our bags without charge while we explored some more! Definitely, the kindest staff i met, 10/10 customer service.
good service. very clean bathroom. the room was big enough and in good condition.
the breakfast has only sweet selection. needs more salty things. there was only slices of cheese.
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel - good location, helpful staff, relatively large room (especially considering it’s Rome) with a good shower - all in all, good value for your money. I would definitely go back!
Rooms are oldish, friendly stuff.
Great location. Close to the center, 15 minutes walking distance.
Hotel Elide is a small and cosy property located very conveniently nearby Termini station and basically at walking distance from many attractions in the Center of Rome and bus/metro station.
Rooms are basic but have anything u need for a simple stay in the Capital, considering the location, they are truly value for money.
Staff and owners are nice and entertaining as usual of Romans!
Small minus is the breakfast which is not super yummy and just provides you with basic European style breakfast food/drinks.
